Mission Statement

The North Carolina Film and Television Working Arts School is dedicated to the creation of a two-year educational program for job and trade skills related to the media-arts, film, and television industry along with the goal of developing local and regional stories, plays, and books into screenplays for future feature films and episodic television shows. By developing local talent through the NCFTV Working Arts School, these projects can be produced in the Piedmont by our current and graduated students providing jobs in an industry where most people have to move to the West coast for career opportunities while contributing to the overall local economy.
